Motivated by a life-defining drive to help avert climate change, Matt spent 3 years researching under the Sainsbury's-Imperial partnership using advanced modelling techniques to deliver net zero buildings. He founded CarbonShift after cutting his teeth in industry delivering transformational change projects in manufacturing environments.

Andreas shares our passion for transferring research into impact, and we are proud to welcome him as the newest member of our team. He carried out his PhD in the Clean Energy Processes Laboratory at  Imperial College, and has spent 4 years developing advanced optimisation models to decarbonise buildings.

Manmiya has been with CarbonShift since the beginning, building our prototype web app and then leading our brand design. She is a proud Indigenous Australian from the Bunuba language group, and we are proud to have her curating our voice. Indigenous peoples globally have looked after our planet for millenia and they hold so many of the answers we need.

Mando has 4 years of experience in web development on both commercial and government projects. He was the second person to join our team, and was integral in helping Manmiya build our prototype web app. He has been leading our frontend development ever since.
